Lockdown, opportunity or threat? Part 2: Calm and good luck.

The second lockdown is an occasion to dedicate time to space and ourselves. In an admittedly quite depressing period of our lives, there are ways to change our mood. Definitely decorating your home is one of the most creative processes and creation is the enemy of melancholy. After all, Christmas is coming and no matter how bad things are around us because of the pandemic, let us not forget that it is a holiday that hides magic.

We dedicate the second article in the series to calm and good luck. One of the “mania” of our time is to deal with our peace of mind. Every time a decorator hears the word zen, he pulls a Buddha out of his sleeve.

The word Buddha or Buddha in the ancient Indian language, according to Wikipedia means “Awake” or “Enlightened”. It comes from the root of the verb bundh, which means to awaken, enlighten and understand.  The word Buddha, therefore, does not refer to the particular religious teacher who lived at that particular time, but to a type of man who reached a point of spiritual attainment. The religious symbol for 6% of the total population knows moments of glory. Buddha in Feng Shui is a symbol of protection, peace and good luck. The Buddha figure brings a sense of satisfaction and serenity to any of your homes or businesses. People who “believe” in the new mania are not necessarily Buddhists. All that a Buddha symbolizes is enough for them: peace, wisdom, peace, good luck. Who would not want to be able to feel this security?

The Buddha statue in a meditative posture symbolizes absolute serenity. Ideal for those who want to give their space a sense of peace of mind.
So Buddhas are everywhere. You can easily get them. And start your collection… That’s how it all starts…here!
